Our History

SNA Power was established in 1993 by Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Checker in Chandigarh, India, with a focus on selling and servicing Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems and power continuity devices. The company began operations from its headquarters in Chandigarh, targeting the North India region, including Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, and Uttarakhand.

By 1995, SNA Power solidified its position as a leading provider of power conditioning solutions in North India. The company established a branch office in Delhi to enhance its market reach and service capabilities. During this period, SNA Power forged a strategic association with Integrated Electronics, a Delhi-based Indian brand, to distribute and service power continuity solutions, strengthening its regional presence.

SNA Power became one of the earliest channel partners of TATA Liebert in India, marking a significant milestone. This partnership allowed SNA Power to offer TATA Liebert’s advanced UPS systems and power protection solutions, catering to critical industries such as IT, telecommunications, banking, and manufacturing. The collaboration enhanced SNA Power’s reputation for delivering high-quality, reliable power solutions

SNA Power expanded its field service engineer network across key cities, including Amritsar, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Bathinda, Mandi, Shimla, Rekong Peo, Karnal, Hisar, Ambala, and Baddi. The company developed expertise in UPS repair, PCB-level repairs, system valuation, rentals, and refurbished UPS systems. Services were extended to include breakdown support, Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs), preventive maintenance, and power quality auditing, ensuring 24/7 support for critical clients like hospitals and telecom companies.

As TATA Liebert transitioned into Emerson Network Power, SNA Power continued its strong partnership, becoming a Platinum Business Partner. This era saw SNA Power expand its product portfolio to include Emerson’s advanced offerings, such as precision cooling, data center racks, and surge protection solutions. The company began catering to high-end, business-critical applications, serving major industrial and IT clients across North India.

Following the spin-off of Emerson Network Power into Vertiv in 2016, SNA Power maintained its status as a trusted partner. The company adapted to Vertiv’s cutting-edge solutions, including online and offline UPS systems, lithium-ion battery solutions, and advanced data center infrastructure. This partnership reinforced SNA Power’s leadership in delivering state-of-the-art power and cooling solutions.

By the 2020s, SNA Power had grown into a team of nearly 40 engineers, providing dependable service support to major brands and organizations. The company expanded its service coverage to include remote regions like Leh, Ladakh, Jammu, and Kashmir. SNA Power’s commitment to innovation was evident in its proactive solutions, such as addressing environmental challenges (e.g., steel wool interference in factory settings) and deploying dedicated engineers for large-scale installations.
